To find:
Tension of the strings (T1 and T2) and the acceleration ( a1 and a2)
Concept:
There are 4 variables.
So we need to find out 4 equations to find each of the variables.
Calculation:
The 4 equations are as follows:
1. T1 = (10 × a1)
2. T2 = 50g - (50 × a2)
3. 2 × T1 = T2
4. a1 = 2 × a2
Please refer to the attached photo to understand the equations better.
Now after solving all the four equations after substitution and cancellation, we get :
1. a1 = 10g/9
2. a2 = 5g/9
3. T1 = 100g/9
4. T2 = 200g/9
