Is the new number greater or smaller than 123?

(2) Which number we will get if we subtract the place value of 4 from the place value of 5 in 95432?

(3) Write in words: 5,02,324

EVALUATION

(1) Here the given number = 123

If we interchange the digits at unit’s and hundreds place in 123 we get 321

Since in hundred place of 321 is 3 and in hundred place of 123 is 1

So 321 is greater than 123

Hence the new number is greater than 123

(2) Here the given number = 95432

Place value of 5 = 5000

Place value of 4 = 400

Hence number we will get if we subtract the place value of 4 from the place value of 5 in 95432

= 5000 - 400

= 4600

(3) If we write 5,02,324 in word we get

Five lakh two thousand three hundred twenty four
