a ) $\sf\dfrac{13}{27}\:\times\:\dfrac{3}{26}\:÷\:\dfrac{1}{18}$

Solution :

$\sf\dfrac{13}{27}\:\times\:\dfrac{3}{26}\:÷\:\dfrac{1}{18}$

Step 1 :- 13 & 26 and 3 & 27 get reduced to their lowest terms which gives out this .

$\sf\dfrac{1}{9}\:\times\:\dfrac{1}{2}\:÷\:\dfrac{1}{18}$

Step 2 :- Now 9 and 2 in the denominators will get multiplied and that gives us 1/18

$\sf\dfrac{1}{18}\:÷\:\dfrac{1}{18}$

Step 3 :- The sign of division would change into that of multiplication and give us a reciprocal of 1/18 that is 18/1 .

$\sf\dfrac{1}{18}\:\times\:\dfrac{18}{1}$

Now reducing both fractions to their lowest terms we get remainder as 1

= 1
