Q.1 Find the area of the given figure.
Area of Part 1: No. of whole squares = 3 boxes = 3 square unit
No. of square more than half boxes = 1 square unit (we consider as a 1)
No. of square less than half = 2 boxes= 0 square unit (we consider as a 0)
So, area of part 1 = 3 square unit + 1 square unit = 4 sauare unit
Note-Now observe the above solution and find the area of part 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.​

The area of any irregular quadrilateral can be calculated by dividing it into triangles. Example: Find the area of a quadrilateral ABCD whose sides are 9 m, 40 m, 28 m and 15 m respectively and the angle between the first two sides is a right angle. The area of the quadrilateral ABCD =(180+126)=306 square meters.
