(b) The pollution referred to here is water pollution.

Explanation: Use of water with bacterial contamination might lead to vomiting and dysentery in people. Moreover unhygienic conditions give a perfect environment for the organisms to grow.

(c) The pollution referred here is that of air pollution.

Explanation: Pollens from flowers in the garden may lead to asthma which is the cause of sneezing. Microbes in the air can also cause an allergy which leads to sneezing.

(d) The pollution referred to here is soil pollution

Explanation: Effluents from industries consisting of water with high salt concentration causes a mineral imbalance in the soil. This imbalance result in loss of fertility of the soil and crops can’t grow in these areas.

(e) The pollution referred here is that of air pollution.

Explanation: In busy squares, with the increase in human population the number of vehicles also increases. This leads to an increase in the smoke released into the atmosphere and as such the air gets polluted. People thus get respiratory problems.
