Digestion of fats take place partly in our stomach and small intestine.

At first, fats enter our stomach where they are transformed into emulsified fats or the fats consisting of smaller compounds. It is done by the biles stored in our liver. The equation is:

Fats + Biles → Emulsified fats

Then, it enters our small intestine where the emulsified fats are again transformed into glycerol and fatty acids by the enzyme called Pancreatic Lipase secreted by pancreas. The equation is:

Emulsified Fats + Lipase → Fatty Acids + Glycerol

This is how it is digested.
