Answer:

For 1st question we have,

440 Ohm and 110 Watt

For 2nd question we have,

115 Watt

Explanation:

1st Answer

According to the given question,

Voltage = 220 V

Current = 0.5 Ampere

And We are asked to find R means resistance and P means power.

We know by ohm's law,

  • V=IR

Where V is voltage, I is current and R is resistance.

Hence, By using this formula ;

  • R = V/I

( By putting the values)

  • R= 220/0.5

  • R= 440 Ohm ans.

Now, To find power;

We know P=IV

Where P = Power

  • P= 220×0.5 = 110 Watt or W ans.

2nd Answer

According to the given question,

Voltage = 230 V

Current = 0.5 Ampere

And We are asked to find rate at which electrical energy is being transferred by the fan.

We know that rate of electrical energy is equal to the power.

As Power = Energy / Time

So in simple language we are asked to find "Power"

As we just used the formula,

  • P=IV

(By putting the values)

  • P= 230×0.5

  • P=115 Watt or W ans.
