Q.1 Read the following passage and answers the following questions

One day a wonderful plate made of gold fell from heaven into the Courtyard of a temple at Kashi, and on
the plate,
These words inscribed, "a gift from heaven to him full love best." The priests, at once, declared that every
day at 12 o'clock, all those who would like to claim the plate should assemble at the temple to have their
kind deeds judged. Every day many came and narrated their deeds of charity to the priests. Atlas they
decided that the one who seemed to be the greatest lover of mankind was a rich man who had given all his
wealth to the poor. So they gave him the plate of gold. But when he took it in his hand, it turn into lead.
When he dropped it, it became gold again. At last, a simple person who person who had heard nothing of
the plate of gold came to the temple. He was so
touched by the sight of the poor beggars outside the temple that he wept in and going to them, he
comforted them with words. He went in and the priests ask him to hold the plate for a while. As soon as he
touched it, it shone more brightly and the priest said, "Son, the gift is yours, for you love best."
