I was born in a very affectionate family and my life was full of joy till that fateful day. By nature, I was very inquisitive like any other kid. I saw a strange crate kept under a thick gorge bush. Without realizing the danger, I entered the same, alas! The crate got closed and some needle like thing fell on me and I lost my consciousness. When I opened my eyes, I was kept in a cage and lots of animals which I have seen in the forests were also kept in cages. After that what I experienced in life was nothing but misery. I understood that I was brought to a circus. We all animals were given severe training to do various dangerous tricks like jumping over the fire, running inside a small globe, tricks on whip, balancing on a thin rod, etc. We all used to get hurt a lot not to mention the beatings and ill-treatment. I used to cry why God punished me like this for no mistake of mine and why people are mean minded, making us starve all the time while they earn out of our work. There is always a dawn to every dusk. To our great relief, one day in the town where our circus was going on, a school arranged a special show for their children. When my turn of crossing the fire came, I lost my balance and fell down and got badly hurt. On seeing my sufferings, one of the kids called Blue Cross. They seized the zoo, took all the animals including me and left us in the nearby forest after proper treatment. Though by that time my wound had healed, I understood that I am counting my days. But I am very happy that the younger generation of the country are kind, considerate and they treat animals with due care. They are genuine and not troublesome.
