HERE IS YOUR ANSWER :-

1. Hi there

Given,
Capacity of the cuboidal water tank = 50,000 Litre
We know,
1000 Litre = 1m³
50,000 Litres = 50000/1000 m³= 50m³

Volume = 50m³

Length (l) = 2.5m
Height (or depth) (h)= 10m
Let the breadth be ' b '

Volume = l × b × h

50 = 25/10 × b × 10

b = 2

Thus,
the breadth of the tank is 2m

2. Hey there

Thanks for the question

Given that, x - 2 is a factor

=> x = 2

Equation = kx² - √2 x + 1 = 0

Substituting x = 2 we get,

=> k ( 2 )² - √2 ( 2 ) + 1 = 0

=> 4k - 2√2 + 1 = 0

=> 4k = 2√2 - 1

=> k = ( 2√2 - 1 ) / 4

Answer:

200m

Step-by-step explanation:

1) Capacity = Volume

Volume of cuboid= length×breadth×height

here, length= 25m

height= 10m

and let the breadth be x

∴ 50000= 25×x×10

∴250x= 50000

∴ x= 200

∴ breadth=200m

Dear friend, the question was a bit wrong . It would be 50000m³ not 50000m
