Q.1) The length of a pencil is 16cm and its diameter is 6mm. What is the ratio of the diameter of the pencil to that of its length?

Answer:

1)16cm to 6mm

=16cm to 60cm

ratio=16/60

divide by 4

you will get ratio=4/15

ratio=4:15

2)10m to2.4cm

=10m to240m

divide by 10

you will get ratio=1/24
