Q.1.(v).When we mix 10 gm sand and 100 gm water ,what is the mass percent of solute in this solution? *

Mass of solute =10g

Mass of solution =Mass of solute+Mass of solvent

=10 g+100 g

=110 g

Mass % = Mass of solution/Mass of solute×100

=10×100/110 =9.09=9.1%
