 \green{Ans 1}

When we multiply two or more numbers we get a product. Each number that we multiplied is a factor of the product.

OR

If a number x divides y exactly, then we say that x is a factor of y . It is represented as x|y ( x divides y )

Example: -

1. 6 divides 18 exactly

=> 6 is a factor of 18

2. 3 divides 27 exactly

=> 3 is factor of 27

 \green{Ans  \: 2}

a. Yes, 5 is a factor of 300.

Because 5 divides 300 exactly without leaving any remainder

b. No, 8 is not a factor of 153.

Because it does not divides 153 exactly

 \green{Ans \:  3}

a. Factors of 32: - 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32

b. Factors of 75: - 1, 3, 5, 15, 25, 75
