ᴀɴsᴡᴇƦ → There is more wheat cultivation than rice cultivation because it is a staple food since 6000 years and rice is more labour intensive and needs more cost and time whereas in wheat , it needs less water and cost for its cultivation compared to rice crop.

ᴀɴsᴡᴇƦ → Sugarcane is a kind of grass with thick stem. It grows to a height of about 3 meters or more. It also requires level land and well drained fertile soil. There is no accumulation of water in the fields. So, there is hardly any growth in temperate grassland.
