Meet the Mahathma Today

Good morning friends! Today, I am going to give on the speech, Meet the Mahatma today. Let us analyze why Gandhi is celebrated among the people of India.

We all know how literate Mahathma was. He was born in an affluent family, studied in London and was a man of principles all throughout his life. Anyone of that time would have settled for a well-paying Government job and would have lived in peace.

But Gandhi gave up everything and devoted his life to the people of India. On seeing the torn clothes worn by the people here, he gave up his posh clothes and took a white cloth to cover himself.

This is what made him a person etched in our memories. He placed freedom for India before anything and lived the rest of his life, fought with the British by adopting non-violence and obtained freedom.

Let us all awake the Gandhian in us and strive to live better.
