Answer:

1:40m,20mcan

Step-by-step explanation:

let breadth be x

length=2x

area with new dimension's =length*breadth

= 2x*x

=2xsq.m

so by the question=2xsq.m=800sq.m

xsq.m=800/2sqm

xsq.m=400sq.m

x=√400sq.m

x=20m

length=2x=2×20m=40m

breadth=20m

Given:

area of the rectangular field = 800 sq meters

To Find:

length and breadth of the rectangular field

Solution:

⟹ Let breadth be "x" ,then length = x²

⟹area of the rectangular field = 800m²

⟹x \times 2x = 800

⟹ {2x}^{2}  = 800

⟹ {x}^{2}  = 400

∴ \: x =  + 20

⟹ x cannot be negative

∴ x = 20

⟹Breadth of the rectangular field =

⟹\tt\underline\pink{x\: = \:20\:m}

⟹ Length of the rectangular field = 2x

⟹ 20 × 2 = \bf\underline\pink{ 40m}

hence, length and breadth of the rectangular field is :

{\boxed{\sf{\red{length\:=\:40m}}}}

{\boxed{\sf{\red{breadth\:=\:20m}}}}
