Let distance bw P&Q ===> s
avg velocity = total displacement / total time
avg velocity will be zero , as the object reaches back to its initial position .
however avg speed = total distance / total time
total distance = 2s
time for p to q = t1
t = distance /speed
t1 = s/40
similarly t2 = s/60
avg speed = 2s / s/60 +s/40
after solving u would get 2/1/60 + 1/40
====> 2x 240 / 100 = 480/100 ===> 48 m/s
