Given :-

BaCl2 + H2SO4 → BaSO4 + HCl

To Find :-

The balance chemical equation for the given equation .

Used Concepts :-

  • A chemical equation is said to be balanced if and only no. of atoms of all elements are same on product side as well as reactants side .

Solution :-

Here , On Reactant Side ,

Atoms of Ba = 1

Atoms of H = 2

Atoms of SO4 = 1

Atoms of Cl = 2

On product Side ,

Atoms of Ba = 1

Atoms of H = 1

Atoms of Cl = 1

Atoms of SO4 = 1

Therefore , The balanced equation for Given Reaction is :-

BaCl2 + H2SO4 → BaSO4 + 2HCl

As you can see that here , two elements displaces each other from their Compund . So , this reaction is double displacement reaction .
