Q.10. How can you show that water can climb upwards?
Ans. If you dip a paper towel in water, you will see that the towel gets
wet showing that water has climbed up. Similarly, the roots of a plant
have tiny holes in them. Water in the soil goes into the roots. It is
sucked up to the leaves through tiny tubes in the stalk / stem.
