Solution:

(a) distance

Distance covered by car = (The initial reading of the odometer of the vehicle − The final reading of the odometer of the vehicle) 

Distance covered by car = 153375 − 153725 km = 15 km

(b) Total time

The car starts at 10:30 AM and stops at 02:50 AM.

Therefore, the time taken between 10:30 AM to 02:50 AM = 260 minutes = 260/60 hour = 13/3 hour

(c) Average speed

To find the speed, at first we need to fidn out the speed

We know that

Average speed = Total distance travelled / Total time taken

Average speed = 15/13/3

Average speed = 15×3/13

Average speed = 3.46 km/h
