to find: x , y and z

solution:

In parallelogram ABCD

AB=CD ( opposite sides are equal in a

parallelogram )

therefore

3x - 2 = 2x + 1

3x - 2x = 1 + 2

x = 1

angleDAB + angleCBA = 180°

(Adjacent angles of a parallelogram are

supplementary )

therefore

(60°+z) + 105 = 180°

60°+ z + 105° = 180°

165° + z = 180°

z = 180° - 165°

z = 15°

AB // CD

Therefore

angleCAB = angleDCA

( alternate interior angle)

So,

angleDCA = 15°

y + angleDCA = 180°

(linear pair)

y + 15° = 180°

y = 180° - 15°

y = 165°

answer:

x = 1

y = 165°

x = 15°
