respiration is considered as an exothermic reaction as in respiration,glucose acts as a fuel for body cells to combine with oxygen to release energy.

Respiration consider as exothermic reaction because respiration process evolved energy. When glucose combine with oxygen to give carbindioxide water and 38ATP energy... Hence it consider as an exothermic reaction..
