Distance between P Q = √( x1 - x2) ^ +( y1 - y2) ^

= √( -6 - {- 1} ) ^ + ( 7 -{-5 }) ^

= √( -6 + 1 ) ^ + ( 7 + 5 ) ^

= √( -5 ) ^ + ( 12 ) ^

= √ 25 + 144

= √ 169

= 13
