minorities have existed in the society since time innumerable. they have been treated poorly and have been deprived of their rights because of the so called caste system and class. Though the country has progressed a lot but the mindset of many people is same.The drafting committee of the constitution knew the state of minorities in India which is why they made special articles and laws and acts to safeguard the minority from the assaults and humiliation from the upper classes and caste.
