GIVEN : Length of the string is 5m

TO FIND : Minimum velocity at the lowest position

SOLUTION :

For completing a vertical circular motion the minimum velocity required at the bottom is given as \sqrt{5rg} where r= radius and g = acceleration due to gravity

  so, the velocity at the bottom of the string  = \sqrt{5*5*9.8}

                                                   = \sqrt{245}

                                                   = 15.65 m/sec
