Q.11 (a)The lengths of two adjacent sides of a parallelogram are in the
ratio 2:3. If the perimeter of the parallelogram is 120cm.Then find the
lengths of its sides.​

ANSWER:

length = 36cm

breath = 24cm

SOLUTION:

let the length of parallelogram is 3x

and breath of parallelogram is 2x

Perimeter = 120cm

2(3x+2x) = 120

10x = 120

x = 120/10 = 12cm

length = 3x = 36cm

breath = 2x = 24cm

24 & 36

P = 2 ( a + b )

120 = 2 ( 2x + 3x )

120/2 = 5x

5x = 60

X = 12

a= 2*12 = 24

b= 3*12 = 36
