(a) kinetic energy

b) potential energy

kinetic energy possesed by the object

 =  \frac{1}{2} mv {}^{2}  \\  =   \frac{1}{2}  \times 15 \times 4

Answer:

a. kinetic energy

b. elastic potential energy

ii. kinetic energy possessed by the object = 1/2 * (mass of object ) *(speed of object) ²

given : mass = 15 kg

speed = 4m/s

kinetic energy possessed =1/2*15*(4)²

1/2*15*16

= 15*8 =120 J
