Given:-

  • 9*3^n=3^6

  • 3^2*3^n=3^6

  • 3^(n+2)=3^6

On taking logrlarithm on both side

  • log 3^(n+2)=log3^6
  • (n+2)log3=6log3

Cancel log3 from both side,

  • n+2 =6

n=4 ,which is required answer.

Note:-

  • You can directly compare the exponent if and only if base is equal and greater than 1,because exponential functions are defined for base greater than 1.

: In this case you can use this method also. Just by comparing you can write directly

as

n+2=6,n=4.

THANKS!
