(c) Broader than law.

Ethics are of course broader than law. They are like guidelines that tell us the good and moral path to be a human and help us in making decisions about what is right or what is wrong. Ethics consists of values that emphasize what should be done. But a person doesn't necessarily need to follow ethics. Whereas laws are legal rules and regulations that one must obey or legal actions will be taken by the government against them. In ethics, there are a vast number of guidelines to follow but not all of them can come under the law. Also to follow the law is the legal duty of a person whereas to follow ethics is the moral duty of the person. Hence, ethics are broader than law.
