So Its Perimeter=60 cm

So Its 1 Side=60/3=20 cm

Length of side of triangle

Solution:

We know that equilateral triangle has all it's side of equal length.

So let us assume length of each side be x.

Also we know that perimeter of a certain figure can be obtained by adding all it's sides or sum of all sides.

So:

Perimeter of equilateral ∆=(x)+(x)+(x)

We have given perimeter of ∆=60cm

⇒ 60cm=(x)+(x)+(x)

⇒ 60cm=3x

⇒ (60cm)/3=x

⇒ 20cm=x

Our assumption was that the length of each side of triangle x=20cm.

Hence length of each side of equilateral triangle is 20cm.
