In a huge and dense forest at the foot of Himalayas,
there lived a ferocious liont. He struck
terror in the heart of every animal and human being around. But none would dare do
anything about it.
A needle also lived in one part of the forest. As lion's wild attack left the forest almost
devoid of most animals. The needle thought of doing something to put an end to the
dangerous beast. While it was planning to kill the lion, it came across a hammer and sought
the latter's help in the plan. The hammer readily agreed. Then they convinced the wasp and
the snake to help them in their mission.
They reached the lion's den, but found it empty. The king of the forest had gone out in
search of prey. They considered his absence to be a good opportunity to lay an ambush.
First the snake advised the needle to push itself into the lion's bed and stand erect with its
sharp tip facing upwards. Next the wasp was made to take his position on the mirror, while
the hammer hid itself behind the door. The snake coiled itself around the base of the lamp.
