Answer:

F = ma

⇒a = F/m = (300 / 25)m/s²

⇒Acceleration = 12 m/s²

Given :-

  • A force of 300 N is applied on a mass of 25 kg.

To find :-

  • Acceleration of a body

Solution :-

  • Force = 300 N

  • Mass = 25 kg

As we know that

F = m × a

Where " F " is force, " m " is mass and " a " is acceleration.

Now

  • According to the question

→ F = m × a

  • Put the values

→ 300 = 25 × a

→ a = 300/25

→ a = 12 m/s²

Hence,

  • Acceleration of a body is 12m/s²

More to know :-

  • v = u + at (First equation of motion)

  • s = ut + ½ at² (Second equation of motion)

  • v² = u² + 2as (Third equation of motion)

  • F = m(v - u)/t where " m " is mass
