Answer:

Arun's cost price=₹5200

Step-by-step explanation:

Pinkey's profit= ₹5000of30%

=₹5000×30/100

=₹1500.

Pinkey's S.p.=C.P+ profit

=₹5000+₹1500

=₹6500.

Shalini's C.p= ₹6500

Loss=₹6500of 20%

=₹6500×20/100

=₹1300.

Shalini's S.P= C.P-Loss

=₹6500-₹1300

=₹5200.

Therefore, Arun's C.P= ₹5200(answer).

To Find; the cost price of the machine for Arun

Solution; Cost price at which pinkey bought machine= x

The sale price of pinkey=Cost price of shalini= 1.3x

The sale price of Shalini=Cost price of Arun=1.04x
