let abc be the sides of the∆
we know.
a=b (sides of isosceles triangle)
L b= 90° ( given)
thus, L bca and L bac= 45° each
Now, sin45°= a/c
1/√2= a/50 cm
a= 50×1/√2 cm= 50/√2 cm= 25√2 cm
Area of a ∆ = 1/2( b×h)
= 1/2(25√2 cm×25√2 cm)
= 625×2cm²/2
= 625cm²
