let abc be the sides of the∆

we know.

a=b (sides of isosceles triangle)

L b= 90° ( given)

thus, L bca and L bac= 45° each

Now, sin45°= a/c

1/2= a/50 cm

a= 50×1/2 cm= 50/2 cm= 252 cm

Area of a = 1/2( h)

= 1/2(252 cm×252 cm)

= 625×2cm²/2

= 625cm²
