Q.16 An object has mass of 90 kg on the surface of earth. What will be the weight of the object on
earth? Also find mass and weight of this object on the surface of moon. Is it different from that on
earth? If yes, Give reason.​

mass of the object will remain constant

w=mg

w=90×10

w=900N on earth

on moon

w(on moon)=1/6of w(on earth)

w=1/6×90

w=15N

weight is different bcoz weight on moon is one sixth of the weight on earth
