(i) Bills received from Janki for repairs done to Machine 2,500 and Machine supplied for 345,000
were entered in the Purchase Book as 46,000.
(ii) A dishonoured bill receivable for 35,000 returned by the bank with whom it had been discounted
was credited to bank and debited to bills receivable account.
(iii) 34,000 paid for freight on machinery purchased on October 1, 2019 was debited to Freight
Account. Depreciation on Machinery is charged @ 20% p.a.
(iv) Goods worth 2,500 bought by the owner Mr Navdeep for his personal use without any payment
being made as yet was wrongly entered in the purchase book
