Q.1The rectangula swimming pool is 154m.its length is 2m more than twice its bredth. what are the length and the breadth of the pool

Perimeter of pool (base) = l x b 
where l = length 
And b   = breadth

Also it is given that if breadth is b then , 
the length is 2 more then twice of its breadth 
I.e. 2b + 2 = length

Now 
P = 2(l+b) 
   = 2(2b+2 +b) 
   = 4b + 4 + 2b 
   = 6b+4 
=> 6b+4 = 154 
          6b = 150 
            b = 25 cm 
length = 2b + b = 50 + 2 = 52 cm
