Given :

  • Percentage Property given to his wife is 30%

  • Percentage Property given to his son is 50%

  • The remaining property shared equally between two daughters

  • Amount reacieved by each daughter is Rs.49,000

To Find :

  • The property of the Man

Solution :

% Property given to two daughters

= 100% - %Property given to wife + % Property given to son

:\implies %Property given to two daughters = 100% - (50% + 30%)

:\implies %Property given to two daughters = 100% - 80%

:\implies%Property given to two daughters = 20%

Let the property of the Man be 'a'

Then the Property given to the two daughters is 20% of a = 20a/100

We are given that Amount recieved by each daughter is Rs.49,000

Now amount recieved by the two daughters is Rs.49,000 × 2 = Rs.98,000

But We got the property given to two daughters as 20a/100

  : \implies \rm \frac{20a}{100} = Rs.98000 \\ \\ : \implies \rm \: \frac{1(a)}{5} = Rs.98000 \\ \\ : \implies \rm \: a= Rs.98000 \times 5 \\ \\ : \implies \rm a \: = Rs.490000

∴ The Man's Property is Rs.4,90,000

Answer:

Given :

Percentage Property given to his wife is 30%

Percentage Property given to his son is 50%

The remaining property shared equally between two daughters

Amount reacieved by each daughter is Rs.49,000

To Find :

The property of the Man

Solution :

% Property given to two daughters

= 100% - %Property given to wife + % Property given to son

:\implies:⟹ %Property given to two daughters = 100% - (50% + 30%)

:\implies:⟹ %Property given to two daughters = 100% - 80%

:\implies:⟹ %Property given to two daughters = 20%

Let the property of the Man be 'a'

Then the Property given to the two daughters is 20% of a = 20a/100

We are given that Amount recieved by each daughter is Rs.49,000

Now amount recieved by the two daughters is Rs.49,000 × 2 = Rs.98,000

But We got the property given to two daughters as 20a/100

\begin{gathered} : \implies \rm \frac{20a}{100} = Rs.98000 \\ \\ : \implies \rm \: \frac{1(a)}{5} = Rs.98000 \\ \\ : \implies \rm \: a= Rs.98000 \times 5 \\ \\ : \implies \rm a \: = Rs.490000\end{gathered}

:⟹

100

20a

=Rs.98000

:⟹

5

1(a)

=Rs.98000

:⟹a=Rs.98000×5

:⟹a=Rs.490000

∴ The Man's Property is Rs.4,90,000
