Given :

• Initial Velocity(u) = 0 m/sec

• Final Velocity(v) = 72 km/hr

• Time = 5 minutes

To Find :

• Acceleration produced

Solution :

First of all convert the given units into their Standard Form.

• Speed = 72 km/hr

[For converting km/hr into m/sec you've to multiply the unit with 5/18]

→ 72 × \sf\dfrac{5}{18}

→ 4 × 5

20 m/s

• Time = 5 minutes

[For converting minute into second you've to multiply the unit with 60 as 1 minute = 60 seconds]

→ 5 × 60

300 seconds

Now,

 \bigstar  \: \boxed{ \sf \: Acceleration =  \dfrac{Change  \: in  \: Velocity}{  Time  \: taken}}

 \longrightarrow \: \boxed{ \sf \: Acceleration =  \dfrac{  Final  \:Velocity -  Initial  \: Velocity}{  Time  \: taken}}

 \bigstar  \:  \:  \:  \: \boxed{ \sf \: a=  \dfrac{v - u}{ t}}

 \longrightarrow \sf \: a =  \dfrac{20 - 0}{300}

 \longrightarrow \sf \: a =   \cancel\dfrac{20}{300}

 \longrightarrow \sf \red{ a = 0.067m {s}^{ - 1}  \:  \: (Approx)}

\therefore Acceleration Produced by the Truck is 0.067m/s²
