The rules to change active voice to passive voice are listed below:
- The places of subject and the object must be interchanged with each other. While interchanging, pronominal changes also takes place in a way that the subject pronoun changes to object pronoun.
- Then a suitable helping verb/ auxiliary verb have to be inserted according to the tense of the verb.
- The verb has to be changed to the third form, i.e, to the past participle form.
- The preposition "by" has to be inserted before the subject.
