1) If 110 kg 400 grams of grains is to be distributed among 24 students equally. How much each student will get ?

Solution :-

→ Total grains = 110kg , 400 grams = 110 * 1000 + 400 = 110,400 grams .

→ Total students = 24

so,

→ Each student will get = 110400 / 24 = 4600 grams = 4 kg , 600 grams .

(2) Multiply by using distributive property 12 × 35.

Solution :-

→ 12 * 35

→ 12(30 + 5)

→ 12 * 30 + 12 * 5

→ 360 + 60

420

(3) Find the L.C.M. of 12 and 8 ?

Prime factors of 12 and 8 are ,

→ 12 = 2 * 2 * 3

→ 8 = 2 * 2 * 2

so,

→ LCM = 2 * 2 * 2 * 3 = 24

Solution :-

(4) Write first five multiples of 6.

Solution :-

first five multiples of 6 are :-

  • 6 * 1 = 6
  • 6 * 2 = 12
  • 6 * 3 = 18
  • 6 * 4 = 24
  • 6 * 5 = 30

(5) Find the sum of : 11 + (- 5).

Solution :-

→ 11 + (-5)

→ 11 - 5
