(1) Thermosetting plastics and thermoplastics

thermoplastics:-

1- The synthesis of thermoplastic can happen by a process of addition polymerization.

2- Thermoplastics have low melting points and low tensile strength.

3- Thermoplastic is lower in molecular weight, compared to thermosetting plastic.

Thermosetting plastics:-

1- The synthesis of thermosetting plastics can happen by the process of condensation polymerization.

2- Thermosetting plastics have high melting points and tensile strength.

3- Thermosetting Plastic is high in molecular weight.

(2) Physical properties of metals and non metal physical properties.

Metals:-

1- metals are malleable i,e, they can be beaten into thin sheets with a hammer.

2- metals are ductile i.e. they can be drawn into thin wires.

3- metals are good conductors of heat and electricity.

Non-Metal:-

1- non-metals are non-malleable i.e. they cannot be beaten into thin sheets with a hammer.

2- non-metals are non-ductile i.e. they cannot be drawn into thin wires.

3- non-metals are bad conductors of heat and electricity.

(3) Useful micro organisms and harmful micro organisms.

Useful microorganisms:-

1- Recycles by decomposition.

2- Decomposes dead remains and waste products.

3- In medicine: vaccines, antibiotics, vitamins.

harmful microorganisms:-

1- Can cause diseases in humans animals and plants.

2- Can be used as a carrier of disease.

3- Spoils food.
