ɢɪᴠᴇɴ ᴛʜᴀᴛ,

Find a quadratic polynomial whose sum and product of its zeroes are -1/2 , -3.

ʟᴇᴛ,

Sum of the zeroes : α + ß = -1/2

Product of the zeroes : αß = -3

From of quadratic polynomial is

 {x}^{2} - ( \alpha + \beta )x + \alpha \beta = 0

Substitute the zeroes

⟹ {x}^{2} - ( - \frac{1}{2} )x + ( - 3) = 0 \\ ⟹ {x}^{2} + \frac{1}{2} x - 3 = 0 \\ ⟹ \frac{2 {x}^{2} + x - 6}{2} = 0 \\ ⟹2 {x}^{2} + x - 6 = 0 \times 2 \\ ⟹2 {x}^{2} + x - 6 = 0

Hence, it is solved...
