Answer:

\huge{\boxed{\rm{\red{arc=110/7m(or)15.71m}}}}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

radius of a circle is 0.7m and area of the sector is 5.5m²

To find:-

the length of a the arc of a circle

Solution:-

Radius of the circle (r)=0.7 m

Area of the sector (A)=5.5

Using formula:-

If Area of the sector is "A" sq.units and the radius of the circle is "r" units and the length of the arc is "l" units then the relationship among them is

A=lr/2 sq.units

Now we have ,A=5.5m²;r=0.7m then

5.5=l(0.7)/2

=>5.5×2=l(0.7)

=>11=0.7l

=>0.7l=11

=>l=11/0.7

=>l=11/(7/10)

=>l=(11×10)/7

=>l=110/7 m or

=>l=15.71m (approximately)

Answer:-

Length of the arc is 110/7 m or 15.71m
