Answer:

Hope it's help you..

Explanation:

  • The movement of rivers, the processes of weathering and erosion, and tectonic activity create canyons. The most familiar type of canyon is probably the river canyon. The water pressure of a river can cut deep into a river bed. Sediments from the river bed are carried downstream, creating a deep, narrow channel.

  • The formation of a meander. As the river erodes laterally, to the right side then the left side, it forms large bends, and then horseshoe-like loops called meanders . ... On the inside of the bend, where the river flow is slower, material is deposited, as there is more friction.

  • Glaciers not only transport material as they move, but they also sculpt and carve away the land beneath them. A glacier's weight, combined with its gradual movement, can drastically reshape the landscape over hundreds or even thousands of years.

  • As rivers flow from highland to lowland they perform three important jobs, they erode, they transport the material that they have eroded and then they deposit it. small rivers flow down steep slopes and erode river beds vertically downwards. Larger rivers flow down gentle slopes and erode banks laterally. Larger rivers reaching the end of their journey flow over flat plains and deposit the material that they had eroded upstream.

Explanation:

Canyon : Depositional work of coarse sediment ( refer to textbook page 30 the paragraph above the pictures)

Meandering of a river : Depositional work of sediments.

( refer to textbook page 30 the paragraph of transportation and deposition by rivers.
