Q.2 Give the reason why blue colour of copper sulphate solution is discharged
slowly when an iron rod is dipped in it.
Given E°cu2+/cu = 0.34V, E°fe2+/fe =-0.44V

blue colour of copper sulphate solution is discharge when an iron rod is dipped in it because iron is more reactive then copper so so it displays copper from sulphate solution and form iron sulphate solution and copper metal the colour of solution is pale green because the iron sulphate solution has pale green colour

because iron is mare reactive then cupper due to displacement reactions copper sulphate discharged
