Explanation:

India is a country having one of the big populations of the world. Due to this population, poverty is increasing and we find many Indian children are lost away due to poverty and rather enjoying they are forced to earn for their living.

One way to eradicate this situation is to give them education and enable them to get better qualification for better and more reasonable jobs or even enable sense to become good entrepreneurs. Also the government should educate people for family planning, give incentives to people having limited family such as free education, health insurance etc.

India's Population Problem

- Suman Pandit

India is a vast country blessed with considerable natural resources. However, the nation continues to struggle with an equally large population, a large percentage of which is below the poverty line, particularly in rural areas.

High poverty rates can be traced back to overpopulation, which in turn are directly proportional to education levels as well as awareness about family planning. Despite various initiatives launched by the government, rural India continues to be obsessed with the desire to have a male child in the family while lack of education and family planning is additionally responsible for many children per family, even if finances are running low. As a result, family size increases and resources decrease, leading to poverty.

The government is already working on the issue, but needs to spread the word across more effectively. More volunteers and village heads need to be involved and incentives need to be given out, apart from spreading awareness. Changing the mindset of people is a difficult task which demands a lot of time, effort and funds.
