• An organisation is a social formation of individuals, who are organised and manage to accomplish a set of specific goals.
• There are two types of organisation, these are -

Formal -

1. Every business has its own set of rules and procedures that govern how workers interact at work, thereby aiding in the smooth operation of the business.
2. It also provides a logical flow of interactions among the staff. All of this is accomplished through this type.

Informal -

1. There are no written or set standards for this type and it is flexible. Essentially, it is a complicated network of spontaneously formed social ties among people.
2. It also cannot be coerced or administered by the management
