Answer:

1) White blood cells are also called leukocytes. They protect you against illness and disease. Think of white blood cells as your immunity cells. In a sense, they are always at war.

2)This wire is called a filament. The filament is the part of the light bulb that produces light. Filaments in incandescent light bulbs are made of tungsten. Whenever an electric current goes through the filament, the filament glows.

Let's draw a graph for uniform motion. As in uniform motion, the distance time graph would be a straight line, because the equal distance is covered in equal units of time.

4)Answer. Examples of plants that pollinate by cross pollination are apples, pumpkins, daffodils, grasses, maple trees and most flowering plants

5)Vegetative reproduction is any form of asexual reproduction occurring in plants in which a new plant grows from a fragment of the parent plant or a specialized reproductive structure. Many plants naturally reproduce this way, but it can also be induced artificially

Answer:

Refer to the attachment question no. 3

Explanation:

Answer

(1) White blood cells(also known as leukocytes) fight against germs in body.

(2) Filament is a wire inside the bulb that glows.

(3) As mentioned above.

(4) Cross Pollination?

Ans) Cross-pollination is the transfer of pollen

from the stamens of one flower to the pistil of another flower of the same kind of the plant.

(5) Vegetative Propagation?

Ans) Most flowering plants reproduce with the help of seeds. Seeds, as you know, are produced by male and female parts of a flower. In some flowering plants, however, new plants are produced from vegetative organs or organs other than the flower. This type of reproduction which takes place without the involvement of the sexual part of a plant is known as vegetative reproduction.
