Q.2 Solve the equations by transposition :


a. 5 x -1 = 2 x + 11.
b. 6y – 1 = y + 19
c. 3 x + 5 = 2 x + 1.
d. 2 ( z + 1 ) = 3 ( z + 4)​

Answer:

(a) 5x-2×=11+1

3x=12

x=12/3

x=4

(b) 6y-y=19+1

5y=20

y=20/5

y=4

(c) 3x-2x=1-5

x=-4

(d) 2z+2=3z+12

2z-3z=12-2

-1z=10

z=10/-1

z=-10
